Swift boats at Lake Merritt

Unfortunately, the Jack London Aquatic Center (JLAC) became a victim of budget cuts. Oakland Parks and Rec stepped in and designated the Lake Merritt Boathouse as home to the 2 ten-person Swift boats formerly used at JLAC. The Renegades plan use these at their home races and at some practices.

Looks like it’s been a little while since she’s been active, but we’re working on recruiting future princess Kate Middleton into steering for our women’s team (yet to be officially named).  Let’s see if that nets us an invite to Buckingham Palace.  Seems like a natural, she already has the apparel… you can get yours HERE
